80% of French citizens (22 million households) will soon benefit from a reduction of the \u2018taxe d\u2019habitation\u2019 on their main residence\u00a0:<\/p>\n

In 2018\u00a0the reduction will be 30%<\/p>\n

In 2019 the reduction will be 65%<\/p>\n

In 2020 full exempt<\/p>\n

Here are the conditions to be entitled to it\u00a0:<\/p>\n

  1. The RFR (Revenu Fiscal de R\u00e9f\u00e9rence\u00a0: Tax revenu of reference) of 2017 shouldn\u2019t be greater than 28000 \u20ac for the first part of the family quotient increased by 8500 \u20ac\u00a0for the following 2 half-parts, then by 6000 \u20ac for the following parts = > Your RFR is on your tax notification.<\/li>\n
  2. Not have been liable for the ISF or IFI (wealth taxes) the previous year.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    What are the procedures to benefit from the exempt\u00a0?<\/p>\n

      \n
    1. If you pay for your tax annually = >Nothing to do\u00a0! The administration will do it for you.<\/li>\n
    2. If you pay your tax monthly\u00a0: make an estimation of the amount due for 2018 on the website impots.gouv.fr and ask for a new valuation directly online.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
